The Employee Assistance Program provides a wide variety of services for employees and
family dependents (including domestic partners). The services are oriented toward
helping individuals and families cope with the day-to-day "problems of living."
However, the capabilities are in place to respond to serious psychiatric, emotional,
legal and financial crises. Services include outpatient counseling with licensed
psychotherapists, legal assistance from licensed attorneys, financial counseling,
access to participating hospitals, substance abuse treatment centers and outpatient
clinics, referral services for social service agencies, self-help groups and health
agencies and traumatic incident intervention. To contact HBA call: 1-800-937-7770
or complete a Request for Services Form on the website and fax it to HBA.
The phone is answered 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. All faxed requests for
services are completely confidential and are responded to on the first business day
after their transmittal.
